I have had koala sewing chair for about 6 years. It is a high quality chair but that means it is also very heavy. Rolls good on hard surface but not on carpet. The lowest seat height is 19" which is too high for me to sew comfortably. I am 5'6". Not sure how it gets such good reviews. Unless I got a defective chair that should lower more but doesn't? I was hoping the seat would squish down over time but it didn't (good quality?) Also, after about 3 years the chair squeaks and grinds terribly when I swivel. I am disappointed that it cost so much and wasn't that a great of a chair for me. I have put up with it enough and am looking to get a new chair now.

I purchased this chair not expecting how wonderful it would be. The height adjustment is just what the doctor ordered. I like the firmness and the lumbar back support (I have some back issues, but this chair is firm and allows me to sit correctly). This is the first chair that allows me to adjust it based on my fatigue level. Hats off to Koala for designing a chair with the sewer in mind.
