THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
WE WARRANT THAT THE PRODUCT WILL BE FREE FROM DEFECTS IN MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP OF MAJOR COMPONENTS OF THE CABINET FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE.
WE LIMIT THE DURATION AND REMEDIES OF ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY.
SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTYLASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
OUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS IS LIMITED TO REPLACEMENT AS DESCRIBED BELOW IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT.
WHO MAY USE THE LIMITED WARRANTY? Koala Studios located at 1760 Gilsinn Lane, Fenton, Missouri (“we”) provides this limited warranty only to the consumer who originally purchased the product). It does not extend to any subsequent owner of the product.
WHAT DOES THIS LIMITED COVER? This limited warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials the Electric Glide Lift system, individual parts incorporated into the cabinet frame, drawer glide (outer, inner and intermediate members), hinges, and handles that substantially impair the utility of the furniture].
WHAT DOES THIS LIMITED WARRANTY NOT COVER? Our products have been designed for personal, family or household use in a climate-controlled environment in connection with sewing machines and related crafts and hobbies. This limited warranty does not cover any defect resulting from a power surge or lightning strike, misuse or abuse of the product, normal wear and tear, or use in a commercial environment. Exposure to extreme temperature changes, moisture, chemicals, and direct sunlight may cause color changes and/or surface damage and are not covered by this limited warranty.
This limited warranty also does not cover any damage due to: (a) transportation; (b) storage; (c) improper use; (d) failure to follow the product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance; (e) modifications; (f) unauthorized repair; (g) normal wear and tear; or (h) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control.
The limited warranty is valid only at the original home delivery address. This limited warranty is void if the product is moved, shipped or reshipped by an unauthorized shipper or delivery service.
WHAT IS THE PERIOD OF COVERAGE? This limited warranty starts on the date of your purchase and lasts for five years (the ”Warranty Period”). The Warranty Period is not extended if we repair or replace the product. We may change the availability of this limited warranty at our discretion, but any changes will not be retroactive.
WHAT ARE YOUR REMEDIES UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY? With respect to any defect described above during the Warranty Period, we will provide you with a replacement component free of charge if that component or a suitable substitute is still available. If the component is no longer available, we may offer a current replacement product for purchase at a discount.
HOW DO YOU OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE? To obtain warranty service, you must visit https://koalacabinets.com/warranty or call us at 877-496-8060 during the Warranty Period to request a warranty claim form. You will be required to submit a copy of this limited warranty and the original receipt as well as photos and/or videos of the defect. No warranty service will be provided without submission of these documents during the Warranty Period.
If the claim is approved, we will provide you with a replacement component free of charge within a reasonable period thereafter if that component or a suitable substitute is still available. If the component is no longer available, we may offer a current replacement product for purchase at a discount.
You will be responsible for all freight charges in connection with delivering the replacement component to you. You are responsible for installation of replacement components.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The remedies described above are your sole and exclusive remedies and our entire liability for any breach of this limited warranty. Out liability shall under no circumstances exceed the actual amount paid by you for the defective product, nor shall we under any circumstances be liable for any consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages or losses, whether direct or indirect.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
